U8 U10 U12 U14 (6-13 years old)

The age classification is based on age as of 12/31/19.
U14 = under 14 (12 & 13 years old)
U12 = under 12 (11 & 10 years old)
U10 = under 10 (8 & 9 years old)
U8 = under 8 (6 & 7 years old)

Awards 1-10 places for all age groups!

Entry fee is $35 per day or $65 for two  • Late Entry No t-shirt after Feb.

Sat GS (Giant Slalom: larger turns; gates with panels) Sun SL (Slalom: tighter turns; single pole gates).

Registration is 7:15-8:45 AM at Webb’s Mountain Grill – Base of West in the back of Rosita’s Lodge (Skiers Right Lodge at West)

Start order random within U class. All W then M. U8-U14 W then U8-U14 M. There will be a rest than an inspection for second run. Second run start order is reversed start order within U Class. All W then M.

8:45-9:15 Course Open for Inspection – Girls and Boys – Independent racers meet TAS coach at top of course for Inspection

10:00 First Run – Girls then Boys (each run will go girls U8, U10, U12, U14, then boys U8-U14
11:45 Course Reset
Noon Second Run Inspection – Girls and Boys – Independent racers meet TAS coach at top of course for Inspection
12:30 Course Inspection Closes
1:00 Second Run–Girls U8-U14-reverse order from first run in age category, then Boys U8-14
30 Mins after the last racer Raffle and Awards
All Day Race Headquarters at the Finish Shack
All racers regardless of DSQ (disqualification) or DNF (did not finish) will get a second run.  Only valid race runs will count toward the overall results.
If you loose a ski you will be DSQ.
Hiking is allowed in Slalom.  The gatekeeper may tell you either “back” which means you haven’t made it through the gate, or “Go” which means you may proceed.
Hiking is not allowed in GS.  If you lose momentum, you will be DSQ.
Missed gates in either slalom or GS will result in a DSQ.
