Skiing/Snowboarding is a bit different this year in Mammoth and we need compliance from the teams coming attending. Here are a few policies to help you know what to expect when coming our way, just know it will be a bit different this yearand we expect all our guests to be cooperative in our policies in order to keep us open.
Lodges The lodge especially is not your typical ski lodge experience. The lodges need to be thought of as a place of business inwhich you need to be a patron in order to enter. The seating in the lodge is considered part of our restaurant by ourcounty and is capacity controlled to the regulations our county is under. Please do not plan on bringing your backpacksand sack lunch into the restaurant area, just as you wouldn’t do in any other restaurant setting. There are no backpacksallowed to be stashed in the lodge. If you’d like to be a patron of the restaurant and can find an open table, you are morethan welcome to use it for that purpose. There are day use lockers available if you need to stash gear.
Mask Policy Masks are required to be worn properly in all lift lines, up the lifts, and all the way until you are past the unloading dockand able to distance at least 6 ft from other groups. This is a zero tolerance policy and repeat offenders will be asked toleave the mountain to maintain safety of our other guests. Base areas are part of a Mask Zone and even if you areoutside, you are still required to wear a mask properly in the Mask Zones. Single layer buffs are not permitted, neither areski masks that have holes in them. We are finding the best option is the over the ears mask that we have becomeaccustomed to in day-to-day.
Social Distancing Spacing of at least 6ft from other groups in lift lines is required. Please group up in chairlift sized groups before enteringthe lines and these groups should distance 6ft from each other through the maze.
Thanks so much for your cooperation and we look forward to seeing you on the slopes!
Helmets are required! Competitors are responsible for meeting all USSA equipment specifications. (USSA rule 222.1)
Please keep in mind that weather and/or snow conditions may cause a change in the schedule. Please note that dogs are not permitted on thesnow or in buildings at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area.
