Team Alpental Snoqualmie Grant & Scholarship Application

The TAS Grant & Scholarship program is open to U14 or older current TAS athletes whose families/parents/guardians actively support and/or volunteer in the program. Applying athletes must have a current season US Ski & Snowboard license and must be actively participating in US Ski & Snowboard Alpine Ski racing events. The program includes 3 different types of grant/scholarships 1) Merit Grant based on athletic accomplishment, 2) Financial Aid Grant based on need, and 3) Scholastic Achievement Scholarship. All 3 types are intended to be for re-imbursement of Alpine Ski Racing related incurred expenses. Applicants must complete Section A. Sections B to D should only be completed if applying for that sections type of grant/scholarship. An Applicant may apply for more than one type of grant/scholarship using this application. However, an applicant will only be awarded only one scholarship per year.

Note: Financial Aid Grants are intended to reimburse an athlete for expenses already incurred and paid. Not all 3 types of grant & scholarships may be awarded every year, and TAS may elect to offer no grant or scholarships in a given year. The decision to offer and award grant or scholarships is based on available funds and applicant qualification.

The time of year that each type of Grant & Scholarship will be awarded may vary from year to year and is dependent on many factors.

There may be both early season awards, and late season awards.

  • Applications for early season awards are due by Dec 25th.
  • Applications for late season awards are due by March 15th.

Award recipients will be selected and announced 1 month after each application deadline.
