Register Here: https://www.tasski.org/registration/

US Ski & Snowboard Competitors Licence required for all athletes.

About

The TAS Mid-Week program is for 8-18 year-olds who want to refine advanced skiing skills and continue alpine ski racing. This program also offers advanced training and competitive racing opportunities. We emphasize racing fundamentals, technical racing skills, and gate racing tactics in all alpine racing events, preparing the skier for elite-level competition.

Mid-Week $1150 (Wednesday Night)

Add on $450 (Thursday Night) that’s 2 nights for $1600

Weeknight training begins in January and runs through March. Tuition does not include Fall Camp or Holiday Camp.

Ability Requirements

Most athletes in this program will have some competitive racing experience. Athletes must be able to ski all runs at the Summit at Snoqualmie, including all runs at the four mountains: Alpental, West, Central, and East. Athletes also need the ability to ski advanced terrain with linked, parallel turns. They must be able to listen and follow directions from an adult. This is not a ski school and the focus is on racing fundamentals (technique and tactics).

Equipment Requirements

GS and SL ski required. SG and DH skis are recommended. Ski Racing HELMETS are required for all athletes. Athletes U14 and older must use helmets that meet the new FIS standards. Slalom does not require a FIS sticker. Many athletes use their older helmets for Slalom or have a slalom-specific helmet. Look for this sticker on the back:

Back protector and forearm guards are required. Additional equipment requirements: 4 buckle ski boots, winter ski clothing, goggles, ski gloves, and a water bottle. We recommend extra goggles and gloves and a snack or an extra lunch.
