Important Information

Note from Big Sky:

1)      Lodging reservations can be made by calling 800-548-4486 and pressing ‘2’ for the Big Sky Resort Central Reservations Office

2)      Guests will receive 20% off of Vacation Rentals when mentioning the November Race Camp Friends and Family rate

3)      Lodging discounts are only available November 18-26, 2020 and require a two-night minimum (deposit due at time of booking)

4)      Skiing will not be open to friend and family until November 26, along with all other resort facilities

Transportation:

At this time TAS will not be providing transportation for fall camp. If you are interested in carpool options, please contact Chris.

Lodging:

The team is staying at the Huntley Lodge in Big Sky more info here

For team lodging, will have 2 athletes per room; each athlete with his or her own bed. Big Sky Resort has dedicated a portion of its lodging for race teams, and the lodging will either be in a hotel or condo-style apartment.

Meals:

All meals are included and will be served from the common dining space at the resort. Big Sky will take precautions to limit overcrowding and ensure needed social distancing. There is no opt-out for the meal plan.

What if my family wants to ski the resort:

The Big Sky Resort will not open to the public until Nov. 26th. Parents, siblings, and friends will not be permitted to ski until the 26th. The resort does offer other activities.

Schedule:

Arrive on the 18th.

19th – 24th

  • Breakfast 7-8 AM
  • AM training block
  • Lunch 12-1 PM
  • PM training block
  • Video/HW
  • Dinner 6-7 PM

25th – We will not have a PM training block.

*Detailed schedule will be sent prior to camp

Equipment:

GS and SL skis and equipment, ski clothing, and dryland clothing. It gets cold there, so bring warm and extra ski clothing. Face masks or coverings are required. We recommend also bringing hand sanitizer, any needed personal items, and spending cash for incidentals or supplement meals.
